Our play kitchen is one of the the most used play things in our home since we got it for our toddler a year ago. It has allowed her to stretch her imagination, pretend play for hours and get super creative.
Play kitchens are a hub for encouraging creativity, fine motor skills, social skills,Ā independent playĀ and more.Ā I think it’s a must have item so here are my favorite play kitchens for small spaces (because we live in one too).

Alternatives to a Play Kitchen
If you absolutely do not have the space for a play kitchen, it’s not a problem. You can still give your toddler play kitchen accessories like pots and pans and this will allow them to play pretend, and put their imagination and creativity into action.
These opportunities are important because role-play develops creativity, improves communication skills, and introduces children to important life skills and routines.
